Some 5,000 films apply for TISFF’s int’l section

Nearly five thousand films have been submitted to the 2020 edition of Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF) in Iran.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that 4,986 films from across the world have been submitted to the international section of the 37th edition of TISFF by Saturday, which marked the deadline for submissions.

Most of the submitted films are from France, followed by the US, India, Spain and Germany.

The report also said that majority of the submitted works are fiction films.

Organized by the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, the Tehran International Short Film Festival is one of the oldest short film festivals in Iran and the region.

The 37th Tehran International Short Film Festival will take place on October 28-November 2, 2020.
